I noticed at the bottom there is a seam, that is smaller in the middle, and larger towards to two edges. At first I thought something was coming apart, but it’s symmetrical.
Can someone or @xtsallad who owns the same box confirm if this is the same on all the shallow d…

Milwaukee Surge for me today. I’m thinking of getting a few more. I never use a normal impact indoors anymore. Or rarely anywhere for that matter. So quiet, it’s like just using a drill but no reactive torque and the same amount of noise as a drill while the same driving speed and performance as a normal impact. I hope Bosch makes a hydraulic dri…[Read more]

Jason replied to the topic Advantages of staying same platform for 12V and 18V? in the forum Cordless Power Tools 2 years, 4 months ago
I prefer owning multiple platforms from multiple brands. It opens up a lot of options. When my crew is using my tools it’s because they’re working directly with me and otherwise they have their own tools and I don’t provide them. They’re all contract rather than employees so there’s not a real advantage to me sticking to only one platform.…[Read more]

I think that’s the one I have but mine is Stanley branded Tstak. I’ll show a pic. It’s not the separate dolly but the integrated two wheel big box with a telescoping handle. It’s perfect for me but if you do a lot of heavy construction and need a really…[Read more]

I forgot to mention something about the deep drawers. I’ve heard of others having this problem and I have it myself with them after a few months or sooner. The drawer glides work reallly well but the plastic at the base of the box eventually d…[Read more] -

The Craftsman Versastak is Tstak and works with other Tstak boxes. I have a bunch of L-Boxxes, and Tstak branded and colored for DeWalt, Stanley and have now been picking up some of the Craftsman. The yellow on the Dewalt has a a deeper color value and is less saturated and bright than the yellow plastic on the Stanley boxes. The different brands…[Read more]

This thread is perfect timing for me. I’ll be cutting a vent for a range hood on the side of my house through brick. I’m thinking I should score it with an angle grinder and then chip with my cordless rotary hammer on chipping mode. The vent will be about 3”x11”.
