BTP is still around?? I thought it died off years ago. I put in for a small redemption a long time ago and never heard back so I thought it was over.

Those units require a router with internet to work. They are basically AP’s on steroids. Definitely a large jobsite item where guys need access a lot.

I think @Doobie has the right idea. You will have much better luck finding smart switches that will have timer abilities and smart phone and app control. You just have to make sure the outlet and device you are switching doesn’t exceed the switches load capacity.

Hey Guys! I know I kinda fell off the forum here but I also put it a request almost 2 months ago. I got and initial response from Brittany and then nothing else. I tried a couple of follow up emails but never got anything back.
I hope everyone is doing well. I see some of you over on Instagram.
As a side question…does anyone have a…[Read more]

That is sweet @jponto07! How long did it take to flatten each slab? Will you do both sides so that it has a consistent thickness?

MrToolJunkie wrote:So I have been using the Flexi and really like it – it is on par with my FT drills and slightly better power than the TXS, in my opinion and in a slightly smaller footprint. I think that this is a winner and being able to pack it, 4 batteries and a 12volt light in one L-Boxx is also a winner – love having a kit that is easy to…

My Menards has 4 in stock and on sale for 119. If I didn’t want the 12v cordless so much I might pick one up.

The column looks sweet @DirtyWhiteBoy! I like it the way it is.
I spent the last few days hacking up some trusses…don’t try that at home folks.

Yesterday I spent the day back and forth with an engineer. We have to modify 2 girder trusses to open up some attic space. We found a few things once the insulation was removed that needed addressed in the stamped drawings. We got all items resolved and lumber delivered. We will be cutting up some trusses over the next few days!! HAHA!!

Hey @doobie they say about 7 days for full cure. I will wait that long for sure..don’t want any issues. There wasn’t any real odor. It is a water based epoxy so it had a latex paint type smell to it. My wife didn’t complain so I know it wasn’t bad..lol!!

I bet with tye correct pads it would work to remove adhesive but it would make a mess of your subfloor @DirtyWhiteBoy.
Making some progress again. Everything is ground down. I needed to do the epoxy in 2 sections to maintain access to the laundry room. Here are some pics of the ground concrete, the 1st section with 2 coats, and the 2nd section…[Read more]

Thanks @Boschmanbrian! A little delayed in responding to you. I really did put a bunch of thought into this one compared to our last one. I still haven’t done anything with an inverter yet. Very cool @jponto07! Ironically we just pulled one out of our current remodel. It was a nice quality piece…I don’t think anyone ever even slept in it.
I didn’t run this today…but last week I spent 2 straight days on it demoing a crap load of tile…prob 1500 plus sq. Ft. Then a few days on a big Husvarna grinder removing the hard thinset left!

I do not think the marine grade will be a good choice for a work surface. That stuff is never flat. For a better choice than the ply look for Medex MDF. A countertop shop might have some. It is water resistant mdf.

Had a tornado go through my town yesterday. Kinda crazy! Missed our shop by a few hundred yards. Tore up a bunch of properties. Went to a clients house and tarped his roof from all the missing shingles and installed a temp post on his front porch due to the wind blowing out one of his posts holding up his porch.
Then the rest of the day was…[Read more]

Here is a quick video of it in action. It gets within 3/4″ of the wall. I used a cup wheel on my variable speed Flex grinder on the slowest speed to get the edges all the way to the plate. With the vac hose right next to it that was almost dust free as well with the speed down.
