Regular masonry bit has no edge and cannot cut any soft material, but the one you posted a photo of has some edge and can go through them. What you may want are the multi purpose bit that has a carbide tip, but also a sharpened edge to go through metal/wood.…
I am Matis, I come from Estonia and as of now I am staying in Sweden until my newly created company starts running properly.
Mostly I am in software selling business, but sometimes I do drilling and sawing if I want to build something.
As my company has grown, it has allowed me to collect some tools, which allows me to do almost any…[Read more]
Thanks madman_us for the suggestion. I was able to find the links now:

The drill bit, that I posted a picture of, is ver…[Read more]
this one here looks similar to the picture you uploaded

“Bullet Plus Masonry Drill Bit” looks quite similar. Thanks a bunch!
What is your wall made of? Are you hitting any steel reinforcement inside? It just seems strange because even a cheap hammer drill and…
Yes I am using proper hammer drill. Generates 850 watts of hammering power.
Only interested in same drilling bit in bigger size as I posted, because it works.
Hopefully someone here in the forum is more professional than the clerks at local hardware stores near me.

Thank you for the links.
Unfortunately they are not correct.
Notice how the tip of my drilling bit is sharper on the tip and it seems to be like double threaded.
Why cannot regular masonry drill bit do the job, is a questions for me as well. I tried with those for three hours without success.

Other end of the drill bit is nothing special.
It is like in the attached picture. (took random drill bit picture from Google)
I am currently located in Sweden. Your registration form has no special options for choosing a zip code for Sweden.
In my opinion actual location is not important for now since I am only looking for information.
No, I am not from North America, but if I get a link to the drill bit that I asked about, then it should be sufficient.
Finding information over the internet is more effective than going from store to store. I have tried two stores and sellers were not professional enough to give me answers.
I am talking about diameter in mm and I have checked SDS drills.
I do have 5mm, 6mm, 8mm sizes of the same drill bit and now I need 10mm, but I do not remember where the hell from did I get those drill bits.
I have a drill bit size 8, that is the only thing that can drill thru my walls (see attached picture). Regular masonry drill bit simply cannot penetrate.
Now I need same drill bit size 10, but I have no idea where to get it as I do not know how this drill bit is called.
I went thru “types of drill bits” tutorials and no one has had an example of a…[Read more]
