I should update this for anyone who may be interested down the track;)
The 1/4″ dewalt router DCW604N mounted up to 2 of the M6 holes and is nice and rigid so that’s good.

Thanks. I might not have explained things very well By router base I mean the router base in the FSN kit which is the subject of this thread.
The attached file shows the acrylic base off the DeWalt router sitting on the Bosch FSN OFA. None of the pre drilled holes on the Bosch align with the DeWalt hence the need to drill the Bosch base to fit.…[Read more]
Hey guys, just got one of these kits, about to start drilling the baseplate to fit my router which isn’t compatible with any of the patterns.
Before I Swiss cheese this expensive casting any tips on router orientation to the rail and countersinking the holes. Just use a larger drill bit to start or dedicated countersink bit?
