Really interesting little tool, I would like one but I can’t think of a reason why which is a little funny. It’s nice to see Bosch coming out with a true new tool instead of just battling inside another segment. I actually came back in here poking around for the new Bosch 12v drill with the adapter heads on it and stumbled onto this one which…[Read more]

Wow, Sven. Awful. I’ve gotten quite paranoid about this happening to me and have put up some cameras. Losing the stuff is one thing, but the feeling you get when being a victim to this is something that really hits hard. Let me know the plan and how when it’s sorted out. I’m happy to throw my points in the pool.

Were they affiliated with Jorgensen? The photo in the article confused me a little. Always sad to see a USA tool company not be able to make it, a stroll through the aisle at Home Depot makes it too easy to understand why 🙁

Not sure if it would be of interest, but maybe some sharp pointy cactii around the palm tree would fit with your new grass free landscaping and fix the problem?

Nice buy Brad, I am a fan of General / GI and I’ve checked out that saw at the dealer here. I’ve heard some complaints about the General bandsaws but I think you found the problem is that people don’t know how and don’t take the time to set them up properly. $500 for that saw is a hell of a deal, that’s almost $.25 on the dollar! I’ve been…[Read more]

Very nice, I haven’t tried a Festool router yet but nice attachments like that make it tempting. The only thing I’ve wished for before seeing this was the better dust collection.

Matt replied to the topic V16.0 What did you do in the shop / site today in the forum Talk Around the Job Site 4 years, 11 months ago
Got a couple hours in tonight and got the cart up and rolling and started working on the MFT style top. Thinking of changing my plan of L-BOXX storage out for drawers, too much stray ‘stuff’ that I would love to get in a drawer right away.

Discovered I missed glueing one joint on the shop cart frame so had to put it back in clamps again and started cutting the top. Trying to get my FSN OFA kit setup for doing the 20mm holes for an MFT style top.
Also worked on a little smartphone stand using some cherry with a walnut accent. Can’t wait to see it with some finish on it.

Did the next phase of the glue up on the shop cart tonight. Long clamps were substituted for the heaviest objects I had around.

Wow, I’ve never encountered a wall anchor that would give me that much confidence, so much that I would put a TV on it – at least one that worked anyhow. 🙂 What is the weight rating on those? Nice review.

I was talking Canadian Pesos, but that is still a great deal. I’m going to have to put that on the list for my next drive down to Montana.

@58Chev I was at HD last week and was surprised at how much they have come down. The higher quality ones were $150 now and I put in 3 of them in my basement shop, planning on putting more in the garage.…[Read more]

Those look great Mark.
I finished up the joinery on two sides of the planer cart with the Domino. The tool has been sitting in the box for about a year since I last used it, maybe even longer, so it took a few little errors and fixing them. Got things glued up though today, I need more clamps.

Today I used my GTS1031 table saw to rip up the structure of my new planer stand. The saw kicks like a bull when you turn it on but it has plenty of power and not bad dust collection for a jobsite saw.
