louise replied to the topic V16.0 What did you do in the shop / site today in the forum Talk Around the Job Site 5 years, 1 month ago
just finished building some barbwire fence today. what a pain in the butt!!! I had to build it right where a creek runs through and it also floods there so it was extremely muddy. but hey its a job.

I would use pressure pvc in my opinion its better. 1″ line for the gut line and 3/4 for our other line (sorry cant think of the terminology right now). I usually put my lines 8″ deep. and a good thing to remember is don’t put a bunch of solenoids together if you live where roots are a problem…… trust me.
and don’t forget your double check valve. -

louise replied to the topic Which power tool brands do you prefer? in the forum Brand and Manufacturer Discussion 5 years, 1 month ago
I prefer bosch simply because they are top-notch. I mean their innovations and quality is to me by far the best. so far I own a jigsaw, circ saw, drill and radio by them. I’m really trying to expand my arsenal as money comes in.

the best temporary tool was a sawzall blade from diablo. the best permanent tool was a pair of needle nose from channel lock. I’ve had them 10 years.

louise replied to the topic 2×4 End Pieces? in the forum Flooring 5 years, 1 month ago
as far as filling the gaps I saw someone use the sawdust from the cuts and then mix it with poly. then they poured it over the floor and let it dry, then they sanded it. the finished product was awesome.

yeah I noticed that. not really liking it. for on no reviews and as far as I could see no specs on certain items. but I do like the trade selector.

i use a straight claw. I don’t own a curved because I don’t like them. they seem awkward to use.

louise replied to the topic What do you do with your trash? in the forum Business Discussion 5 years, 2 months ago
I usually check the stuff out and keep what’s reusable, like screws, bolts and other things. What’s not reusable I take to my house and throw it in the trash. If its wood I burn it in a burn barrel.
