I am with you on this one. The only reason you would drive screws that deep is if you were in a pinch and had screws that were too short that you needed drive them in farther to get them into the piece of wood underneath.
Otherwise the screws should only be driven a little below the surface, it makes it easier to remove the screw if necessary…[Read more]

I am saving up for one of the dust extraction Vacuums, not sure which one yet but looking at the bigger 14 gallon ones but may just end up getting a smaller one for the space saving. I just spend all my points recently though so I have a long ways to go, so I have lots of time to decide.

I got to use my Bosch ROS a lot yesterday. Its the first time I have had time to use it significantly since I received it. I have to say I am very impressed with it so far.

I thought I was going to be doing slab work today, but the rebar guys are about 3 days behind. So instead I am doing as much prep as possible so that we can be prepared when the work is ready for us later in the week.

It must be a local thing to where you are, I don’t know if I have ever seen any of that stuff on the shelf locally here North of the border. Keep an eye on the stuff maybe it will be going on clearance and you can get a great price!

Wow that is a couple awesome new additions to the prize list. That D-tect sensor is pretty cool, it would save a lot of mistakes on a job site for sure.
