Filled the back of the pickup with junk. Old masonary, wood scraps, and ceiling tiles and took it to the dump. Some of it has been sitting on the yard for a while. Am I ever glad that mess is gone.

Got a second coat of paint on the nightstands I am refurbishing. Says 12 hours between coats, I think it’s been 3 days. I got distracted…lol.
Got all the ceiling tiles down out of the foyer. Only about 4 million more staples to take out now. We ordered some burlap and we are going to put that up on the ceiling until I get around to putting…[Read more]

I have found where a mult ladder shines is in a stair well or if you have to get up close to a wall. The ability to have unequal length on the legs is great.

Looks just like the one I got at CT years ago. It’s still holding up and it is my main ladder. For me, it was worth the money.

Sanding, gluing up panels, filling parts of the end tables I am refurbishing.
Got an email and my cedar is ready to pick up. Waiting for good weather as it’s a 2 1/2 hour drive. Final tally is 570 ft of 1 x 6 which set me back $627 (Canadian $).

We have hung out our shingle, as my mom would say. We wanted something to convey the message at a glance. It’s not really a “business” name, we don’t really have one of those.
Also cleaned out the shed and organized it a bit. That involved unpacking things from when we moved in.

On sale in the new flyer. I phoned and they had it in stock. Got it home and put it together, which was pretty easy even by myself. At the height I put it together my head almost touches the ceiling, so, perfect.

A bit of shop time today. Did some resawing so I can make thick narrow boards into thin wide boards. I have a couple of nightstands I am fixing up for the rooms downstairs we got for cheap. I had to stabilize some loose knots, so now waiting for things to dry until tomorrow.
Summer tires go on tomorrow too!

That is the lighter duty one. I’ve had one of those when I built my shop down south. It was OK, but a bit wobbly.
Still, that page is not in our flyer up here.

I looked at the flyer and online and didn’t see it. I wonder if it’s a regional thing? Although that prompted me to look at Cambodian Tire and the regular price is cheaper there.

Thanks. It’s closer to the videos I want to make. It took a ton of time doing the colour correction and adjusting the lighting in editing.
