I use my red Bosch laser to straighten the soffit on the back wall of my garage. Setting it up took at least 15 minutes to get it lined up, so the micro adjust will eliminate that headache. I also had to work at dawn/dusk or after the sn went dark wn so that I could see the laser, having a green laser should allow me to be much more productive…[Read more]

Well, I wasn’t going to spend this much on a laser, but I had a couple gift cards and an extra 10% off. The micro adjust is super smooth and the magnets on the bracket are very strong.
One of the biggest reasons I went with this one is that I don’t have to spend money on AA batteries, I already have plenty of M12 batteries, and I am sick of try…[Read more] -

When I rotate this part to insert a blade, the blade will not insert easily. When I try it over and over to finally get the blade to insert and bottom, the part will not rotate back to the original position. I wonder if something has fallen in it. Anyone knows what I can try?

Finally got around to buying a security T15 bit to replace the housing on my Milwaukee impact drives that got ran over by a bus. The impact still worked but the trigger would sometimes get hung up on what I assumed was a broken piece of plastic. Turns out I was right and it works good as new now. It almost looks new besides the scratches on the…[Read more]

Congrats, I am hopping to replace my pneumatic version that only shoots 1” pins with the M12 as soon as it’s been long enough they offer a sale on it.

Austin replied to the topic Outside Electrical outlets question in the forum Electrical 1 month, 1 week ago
An easy way to add exterior outlets that I have done on my house and garage was to install light fixtures with outlets built into the side. These are a patriot lighting product I think, they came from Menards.
The reason we picked them was for their design and the fact that we can just plug our Christmas lights into the light instead of dropping…[Read more] -

I debated posting on this thread but my thoughts have not been mentioned yet.

As mentioned the biggest perk is you can make it the perfect size for your house. I made this dog bowl holder so each of our dogs have their bowls at the perfect height and the bowls fit perfectly. I also made this hallway table to match the style and again, it fits perfectly and hides the outlet.

My old boss had this pocket hole cutter similar to the one above. It had a router motor to cut the slot when you push the lever and then a drill bit to drill the hole when you pull the lever towards you. That way you don’t have to use a drill separately.
Here is a quick video of one in action.

I went to Menards fully intending on buying the new 720 Pro today only to be sorely disappointed. Every jig and accessory I have ever bought from them previously had been Made in the USA. The two new jigs are now made in china… so I left empty handed. They did have the Kreg K5 jig on the close out shelf and it is Made in the USA. I also tried…[Read more]
