Right now I would say its a toss up between my 12″ Poitras 4800 Jointer and my SawStop Industrial Cabinet Saw.

My friend ordered one from South Korea, I believe it is both SAE and Metric. I will check next time I see him.

I use Olfa myself. Olfa blades where it matters and Princess Auto blades where it don’t.

The unfenced is one of my favourite fences- I almost switched my Sawstop to the Delta Unfenced, but found a BN shorter Sawstop one for cheap…

Mine is the same way- the lighted switch is off when the light is turned on.
Makes it easier to find in the dark and if the switch was lit all the time it would be harder to tell if it was on or off. -

Forgot to mention a few other simple tricks;
– had a door that sung open half the year and swung closed the other half (old house that moved- A LOT), I pulled the top hinge pin out, took it outside, laid it down on its side on the cement and gave it a hit in the middle with my hammer. Hammered the pin back in and the door stays where put.

Lots of good advice so far. I like seeing how other people install doors and learning their little tricks and techniques.
Myself I am not stuck on one way of doing doors and if someone I am working with likes to do them another way- I’m fine with that.

The same reason solar panels track the sun- the angle is more of a direct beam of sunlight and thus more efficiency and heat to dry the wood.
Might not matter as much in Texas- but if I had one where I live now (Ontario, Canada)- I would have it facing south east in the morning, south by noon and south west in the evening. Would also be good to…[Read more]

I have a few of the big decor switches that are lit and they have been lit for more than 8 years as thats how long we have been in the house.
