Just exchanged comments with him the other day over at another forum….probably just burnt out on this one for the time being. It happens.
Hope that’s not true. I remember when this place was getting close to 30 new posts per hour…. It wasn’t just the allure of free tools, this place actually had a community.
@boschmanbrian, yes, I’m in to the Milwaukee platform already. I’ve been interested in Milwaukee’s version of this drill since I first saw their European version of it a few years ago.
The new design doesn’t bother me (the euro looked very similar to the FlexiClick).
I’m getting tired of trying to come back to this forum and posting primarily from a mobile device.
I can never upload a photo as the image upload limit has decreased since my time here in the past.
The Tapatalk option is no longer functional, and trying to post through Chrome is difficult.
@bethepro, if you’d like to keep this forum going Iit’s…[Read more]
Picked up the Milwaukee “Installation Driver” today. I’ve got a cabinet install coming up and I want to try it out. Also I’m hoping that it’ll replace a few of my other drivers /drills so that I can lighten my kit up a bit.

Evening, and first off…..Merry Christmas to you all.
While this may not be the end of the fiscal year, or even the end of the construction season, I find myself thinking about how I’d like the company I work for to get “bigger”.
I don’t mean that I’d like to see our team grow, or that we acquire more assets….but rather, how do we get to the…[Read more]

There is no longer a site compatibility with the Tapatalk app anymore.
When I try to login it refuses with a “Network Error” prompt.
Ugh….this is one of the reasons why my posting slowed down….
It shouldn’t be more difficult to post pics here than anywhere else.
Can someone remind me on the correct way to to post photos again?

How about making this thread disappear? Seems there is not much in the way of putting ideas forward. It’s just turned into a gripe session.
That’s an excellent idea at this juncture Jim.
In fact, today I made a decision. I don’t want to be here any longer either. It’s a dying forum, and Bosch just doesn’t…
Finished the grout on a mosaic tile backsplash job I took on a week or so ago…
Finished the base course on the block. Ready to pack and stack on Monday.
Just a follow up from earlier…
Didn’t have to leave the block wall job today as expected as my material arrived earlier than planned (which was a good thing).
I managed to finish prepping the sub base and base.
I don’t know how every other person preps for their block, but I was taught to over prep where possible.
The sub base was packed in…[Read more]
I’m tackling some last minute framing that got overlooked at the house we’re working on, then heading to the backyard of the same build to prep out the sub base for a block retaining wall, then after that in heading back over to a modular home development to help with siding and entry deck construction.

Haven’t been here for QUITE a long time.
Nothing that happened here in the forum drove me away… I just drifted to other social platforms, and even then (as of late) I’ve slowed down on my postings.
Just a little burnt out from staring at my screen so damn much.
But, I’d like to begin to devote some time back to BTP because I really do…[Read more]

Just trying to stir a bit of conversation here….would it be allowable to place a grade beam around the perimeter, under the slab, and then tie that to helical piers?
It is possible in one pour, but for a water feature you may be better suited to do two pours. If you were to incorporate a water stop in your base pour that tied in to your vertical pour, then you would already have protection against the inevitable cracking that happens with concrete.
Look in to some building details on keyways and waterstops.

I seem to have 2 of them at the time and only one router.
Happens to me as well then I ask myself how did that happen? Hope you get it traded off.
What would you like to trade for it @dirtywhiteboy ? I’d like to have two of them to make mortises….I have one already.
