Got me a vise,
@SmallerStick, found one listed on KIJIJI spelt (vice) for a whole $35. Even has Quick release feature and has never been mounted.

Using a brew given to me by my SIL, he got the recipe from @montreal_woodworks.
BLO + Beeswax + Terpintine as for the ratio??? Have no idea.Think I eventually ended with three coats on the bench, very pleased with it.

BLO + Beeswax + Terpintine as for the ratio??? Have no idea.Think I eventually ended with three coats on the bench, very pleased with it.

Been a while since I’ve been on here.
Update to my Workbench.
Just about complete, used a bit over 5′ oak dowel rod to drawboard the stretchers in. I got to say for my first time, it is very satisfying to see the bench in place. Just need to give it a coat to protect it.

Bed frames are great for repurposing. Just have to watch, some of the older frames are actually made from spring steel. A bit more trickier to work with.

Beautiful house and in a beautiful area. A majority of the home in the area started out as bungalows, get bought out. Then up goes a monster home, The property sizes are very generous there.
I know the area well, one of my daughters bowls just a few blocks away from there.
Very affluent neighbourhood mainly consisting of Doctors, Lawyers and the like.
