I’m still trying to justify switching to LED from halogen, but in the winter time the halogen is where its at.

The same can be said for LED in the hot days of summer.

That is for sure. LEDs are much easier to use in the summer than the old halogens. They would burn you up working next to them.

Has anybody gotten one of the new Milwaukee 18V spotlights?

One of my friends has one and he really likes it.
    They are also pretty bright.
I don’t have a single Milwaukee tool, so its a no for me 😀

Safety feature yes but it makes it super annoying because people are constantly kicking the cord out of it.

Can you attach it so the guys don’t trip on it .

I picked up a snap-on LED stand light for $40 recently, it is 1,500 lumens and detaches very quickly.

Looks like a nice light . How high does it go .

    Always willing to learn .

But in the summer its sunny from 6am-9:30pm, so not much need for lights for me.

Picked up an LED work light. I love it. Doesn’t add heat. It can get dropped. Bright as heck. Low energy consumption.

I like this new light from milwaukee. It runs off batteries but there is also a cord so you can plug it in. Up to 3000 lumens in high mode.

That is a nice light, but pricing is all over the map. Ranging from 188 – 250. Definitely need to keep an eye out for the best deal.

That’s a nice light. The only thing I could see making it better is if it had a built in charger for the battery – like most job site radios.

That would be a good idea, considering that this light will power through a 5.0 battery within 2 hours.

I like that it can be run off both power sources.

That’s the feature that I like best as well. I’d like to see them add this option to some of the other styles/brands of work lights, it’s a great idea.

With leds you can’t replace the bulbs you have to replace the whole light right our I’m wrong .

well you can desolder individual leds, and solder new ones back on.

I just saw this one mentioned on a different forum but it seems like a decent deal
