What do you typically use for an construction adhesive. Do you just go with the best deal you can fond or do you have a preference. We mostly use the OSI SF 450 or the PL 400.

I just saw this video for the FastenMaster Flex. while it would not replace the Construction adhesives on all uses, I could see it being handy for a lot of projects and a t shirt offer to boot.

PL premium is my go to. Unless I need some specialty stuff, its pretty much all I use.

P L premium, for me , but believe it or not , I have used the white premix for wall tile to adhere small wood trim, works pretty good.

I normally use OSI SF450 or SF450+. For certain applications I have some preferred adhesives – PL 550 for tub surrounds, OSI F38 for drywall, and Simpson Set XP for anchoring epoxy.

PL or Liquid Nails HD Construction Adhesive for general purpose stuff.

Obviously, concrete applications or wet areas or what-not, will get a specialty.

We also use the PL Premium, I had forgotten about that, there are a couple of things we do that call specifically for the PL premium.

PL Premium here as well. I don’t even know of any other competing brand.

    Same here.

Subfloors do get subfloor adhesive not construction adhesive. Usually Titebond brand as that is what my yard stocks.

i prefer pl premium,, ive used liquid nail and find it doenst hold as well plus the tubes dont have the same shelf life. when we sheath floors we typically get pl300 but i find it skins over too quick and doesnt have as good a hold.. if i could still get it through our lumberyard i would be using lumberlok the big tubes dont explode as often as the big tubes of pl300

heres a tip, dont fart in a space suit

PL Premium or PL 9000 here. Have used No More Nails on window and door trim.

Pl premuim. Like Kirk said, Lumberlock is nice for a subfloor.

I looked at that flex stuff. Seems like a decent product, though I’m not sure why you’d want it over their PAMtight glue. I wish they’d explained the difference in their video

I have always felt most confident in PL premiums or 400. I never feel that way with Titebond. It seems to stay soft or not cure as aggressively. Maybe bum luck.

I use a fair bit of PL. I also recently picked up a lot of Dow Smartbond. My local yard had it marked down about 70% so I bought the subfloor and all-purpose. It’s cool stuff.

Titebond is what I used for my kitchen remodel. Works great.

Is the Smartbond product dispensed out of a foam gun?

I keep a gallon of TB111 in the van and use the heck out of it.

Pl premium loctite powergrab. I hate liquid nails.

I also keep some tubes of PL Premium for things that don’t get wood glue.
