Had Samsumg galaxy S2, got S5 last year. Although I really don’t like the S6, if that’s Samsung’s new direction my next phone won’t be from them.

What is it that you don’t like about the S6?

The reason I went with galaxy series of phones is because they have removable battery, SD card slot and easy to customize/hack software. S5 is even waterproof. They got rid of all these on S6 and made it too iphone-like for me.

If you are with a given carrier, heir prices while be consistent. It’s possible they one carrier will put a phone on sale and the next carrier won’t….just depends on the season and who you are signed up with.

I have the Galaxy also. My wife thinks I need to upgrade to an I phone. I am due for an upgrade on my contract. I am sticking with the Galaxy for a while, it still works, but the battery is getting weak, some days I do not make it till noon without recharging.

I really don’t like the contract thing , then if you want out it’s like no can brah.. Plus I don’t use a phone much but to bother someone with. Maybe I bother my buddy at his work or even OA gets bothered too. So I just use the phone cards. Get a double or triple minuets phone and that’s all I know???
Oh I also know I went to get one of those Moto-E online till they wanted to charge me tax and I pull out at the last second.

we don’t have a real choice out here in Canada, we get screwed when it comes to cell phones, internet and tv. It’s ruled by the big three, and they don’t like to share. You get what you get and don’t complain. We’ve had unlimited talk for years but only in zones, it has only been recently where they did away with long distance within Canada.

I’m not a logophile or anything like that. I only know Luddite because a friend jokingly calls me that all the time. I’m a pretty big tech geek but I hate spending money on tech so I have all cheap stuff that I’ve altered to be more interesting.

I have the Galaxy 5. I plan on holding onto it even after my contract is up. My old phone is still kicking if I ever need a backup.

Yeah I wish they would have kept the SD slot but I did go with the S6 and have no complaints. The Moto Droid Turbo was a close 2nd on my list when I was looking to upgrade from my S3.

The funny thing is, Google did not have external SD support in their Nexus phones and tried to kill it in android 4.4, Samsung actually resisted and included it in S5 anyway. But this time around the Nexus phone has external SD but Samsung ditched it.

Costco is where I’ve gotten my past phones for about 15 years. I shop it around each time, but they always have better deals/pricing.

costco doesn’t even sell it’s own cell phones, they just allow an outside company to set up a booth inside. The prices are the same as if you visited that company at a mall. I only know because I had a friend work at one of them.

This is how folks talk where I’m from. It’s the way I sound when we’re working and the customer’s not around.

Buy a new battery. They are cheap on amazon. I have 2 spares in case my battery runs low and I can’t leave the phone to be recharged.

I am not a pro. But I play one at home.

I am just here for l-boxx porn.
