What websites does everybody frequent for tools?

I go to these sites a good bit:

    http://www.woodcraft.com/ Tools and Supplies

    http://www.rockler.com/?cookietest=1 Tools and Supplies

    http://www.forrestsawbladesonline.com/index.html Saw Blades

    http://www.woodpeck.com/ Layout, Jigs, Tool Accessories

    http://www.leevalley.com/ Tools, Jigs, Hardware, Books

    http://www.lie-nielsen.com/ Awesome hand planes!

    http://www.traditionalwoodworker.com/ Traditional Hand Tools

    https://www.fastcap.com/ Tools, Jigs, Hardware

There are probably some other sites that I am forgetting about.

Wow Chad, I can’t beleive you left out Amazon. I price shop quite a bit when I’m looking for something specific and in most cases, with shipping, Amazon is the low price.

I can’t believe I forgot Amazon ether. I buy more from them than I do anybody else. Especially since I have Amazon Prime – free two day shipping.

Perhaps we could use this topic to also discuss the positive/negative experiences we have had with these sites…. Going down the road of discussing where we get xyz cheapest would probably lead to closing this topic…
And I too was pretty surprised you forgot amazon as well Chad 😛 That is by far the most convenient website for me to buy from.

I have also had good experiences with toolnut.com (and all their other sites, like festoolproducts.com) and would also recommend http://hartvilletool.com

Hartville tool is great but they are close enough (about an hour) that I run up there every couple months to look around.

I have found the Tool Warehouse has very good prices sometimes even beter than amazon and a huge selection. Free shipping over $75 and they carry Bosch.

I have never bought anything from this site, but if you are a fan of hand planes – these guys make some gorgeous planes.

Lie-Nielsen makes some beautiful planes. They are high end with corresponding prices. These are gorgeous but the pricing is for Bill Gates or Warren Buffet! +$2000 per plane. Ouch…

I got to Bridge City Toolworks — http://www.bridgecitytools.com/

Also Felder and Laguna Tools for machinery. Of course Festool is in the mix too.

I always go to amazon.ca unless it’s a purchase I want local support for.

I usually wait until Dec to take advantage of companies incentive programs on tool purchases (at least in the last couple of years)

It always upsets me that amazon.com has stuff (and won’t ship) that amaozon.ca doesn’t even carry!

    I also recently tried out
    http://www.woodworkingshop.com

for sand paper and even with shipping, the locals guys couldn’t touch there prices.

Cpooutlets.com. I’ve always had good luck with he refurbished tools and new tools with them. Not always the cheapest but usually are. Great customer service.

Refurbished tools are a good bargain. Any sites with Bosch refurbished tools?

I think that CPO offers them or had at one time. I have also bought some stuff at Tool Barn and they have decent prices.

    Honolulu,, Hi.

I have to use Amazon because all the tool online stores kill me on the shipping. Plus Amazon seem to always be the best on the price point.

Yes and it’s always free shipping prime or not.
It’s just a plane ride, we have a bunch of them landing everyday.
