    thats pretty cool.
the machine costs 16k-44k depending on the volume of blocks needed.
it can produce 4000 blocks in 8 hours.

That is pretty cool , It still seems like a ton of work like regular brick laying though. I like the look of the brick when it is finished .

Good on him, there was a guy in town here doing the same thing until the city kicked him out, apparently they considered him to be living in an RV and said it was against bylaw. I think country living would be the way to go with this lifestyle.

Yah that would be amazing, however at the same time you aren’t gaining any equity. I mean you buy a house in Toronto or the greater toronto area, within a year your house price is going up. A buddy of mine bought a townhouse for around 800 000 and the next year his place was 1.2mil , i was astounded.

I looked into this and according to ontario bylaws we aren’t allowed to do this either, i think there was a minimum floor size that you had to hit.

well that guy is living in someones backyard and does all the work around the house. but if the city wants a person out…they will always find a way

eventually i want to tackle bowls on my lathe, as my lathe isn’t as big as that one i may have to resort to smaller segmented goblets or something of that like.

Never understood why people resort to vaporizers. There has to better ways out there to assist people in quitting smoking.
One of my employees uses one and I always get a chuckle because it looks like he’s smoking crack out of this rectangular box with a tube on it.

yah it is because of the type of battery they use and how it is charged and discharged. you can be safer by using protected 18650 vs the unprotected ones. I’ve seen online where the guy must of charged it wrong and his flashlight exploded on him, sent him to the hospital. Gotta be safe around that type of battery.

It reminds me of when we were teenagers and we would put cigarette loads in peoples smokes :-)It was much safer than these things .

    Jim,
ThanX for that, I have watched The Woodwright’s Shop, Roy Underhill recreate the Anarchist’s Tool Chest. Very cool idea for the true wood worker.

Yes, I have have a few Lost Art Press books and I really like Schwarz’s work. I wish I could get dove tails to fit off the saw like he does.

May the Schwarz be with you!
