I was good this week…very little for purchasing.
I picked up a 3″ Automaxx clamp…and I think I am going to continue to buy one every payday. Those things are sweet.
Also looking forward to getting the upcoming Automaxx bar clamps (https://www.kregtool.com/about-us/news/company-news/all-new-automaxxtrade-bar-clamps.aspx)
Also picked up a beauty of an old framing square yesterday and cleaned it up.
This thing is one of the nice old heavy duty ones…full 3/16″ thick at the heel.

I need to check out those automaxx clamps. I have an old framing square just like that from my dad – a millions times better than the new stuff!

The Makita rep shoved a 4ah battery in it at the store and it had some power!

OOH that’s the expensive new fan we were discussing a week or 2 ago. I sure could have used it in the bathroom I was tiling.

    Yea I think I paid 149$ , a few more $$ than amazon http://www.amazon.com/Makita-DCF300Z-Lithium-Ion-Cordless-13-Inch/dp/B00LIV11QC/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1408855910&sr=8-2-fkmr1&keywords=dcs300+makita+fan
So I went with the local biz support.
It will run off of a battery or a power cord. It will be nice to blow the MDF dust away as I’m milling it.

DWB you got the fan. I knew someone would bite sooner or later. A breeze on hot days on the work site is tempting.

Looks like it was a good purchase for you, DWB! I am curious to hear how the runtime is for ya.

Is there a reason you don’t try to collect the dust as it comes out of the saw?

$150 is a lot for a fan. How long will it run on a 3ah battery Dirty?

It does really look like a nice fan, if it even just came with a 3.0AH battery, I would jump on it. But alas, it is tool only.
