Went and looked at an up coming job on the river. Another floating house next door to the one I did a year ago. Might be another fun project.

This sounds like it may be a great project. How ofton does a person do one of these, let alone one a year.

I have been fortunate lately is all I can say. It won’t be as big of a project as the last one. Thank goodness. lol

Ron, you have to post some pics of that job.

At the party for the 50th birthday of my SIL

frames and stuff turned out great and she is blown away

Good use for the last of my walnut. We had fun making it and she was happy

My favorite part to make was the eisel though. First time i make one. Dead simple

Beautiful work. Great use of walnut, for sure.

I just had such a vision of the floor boards being torn up and someone falling through the hole into the drink….lol. Good luck with the job, it sounds like a neat one.

While doing the last one. One of the roofers lost his brand new 20v DeWalt drills. It slid off the roof missed the deck and went straight into the water. lol

well with the new laser printers you can really save on consumables,

Not to mention the versatility of making stuff you can get anymore. Lots of the car club guys are using the 3D printers to make unavailable plastic parts.

I’m going down to the local library today to check out the 3d printing shop there. I’ll see if I can get some pics.

A day of cleaning and reorganizing, as I’ve got a lot of stuff coming this week. Pretty warm out, so I think I’ll go out and play with my new outdoor sporting item that I built myself at some point.

Whoops…same thing has happened to me actually. I had a Makita impact that landed in a swimming pool. Oddly it still works after the fall. It’s my backup impact at this point.

Happy Sunday Kev! I’m actually going to move to a shared accommodation, like a shared house. I was holding on to my other place thinking at some point I would get back together with my ex. I’ve been holding on too long and think shared accommodation will save me some money for my truck and stuff this year. Also I know I will smoke less in an environment where I have to leave the house. Internet, hydro and stuff will all be included and I will be working most of the time. From there I will try and move up into a larger place.

Just a bit of sanding today. I am getting the poly on the window trim. Nothing special as mentioned before. It is just 4 boards tacked to the wall around the window. No vid, no pics.

Finished re-organizing the trailer then did a few things around the house. Now…my mother talked my wife into taking her to the casino so I might tag along for the buffet…

Replaced a doorlock set that was busted. Doorknob on the inside was about to fall off. Weiser sent me whole new set as it was so old for free rather than just the knob.

Took a few hours. Had to rebore the hole for attaching the bottom of the long handle which I had to be real careful at as it was needed less than a quarter inch away from the old one.

I used this Milescraft portable drill pressy gizmo for the first time as well rather than risk not drilling a perfect parralel hole. Worked out OK. 🙂

I unclogged the slow drain in the my bathroom sink. I took the trap out, poked up the the drain with a long screw driver, the gunk came out, I put the trap back on – done.
