This is as much rant as tool purchase but – as part of redoing my miter station I ordered some aluminum track – they shipped it in 3 separate pieces via 2 different methods so I only had one piece to use on the weekend

Now why would they ship them seperately? Seems odd!

I have that happened quite often with larger orders, for example if you order a dozen something they may shop three from this store and four from another store and two from a third store etc…sometimes an item with a free “bonus” they may shop the item from the store but drop ship the bonus from the manufacturer directly. One time I ordered some tool boxes and leaf rakes from Lowe’s, the eight boxes came in five shipping boxes, the leaf rake came in a box as big as a refrigerator with half the handle sticking out lol.

I have had it happen with bonus batteries a couple of times now ordering from Atlas some Makita stuff. For some reason, they ship all the bonus batteries seperately.

But this for some T rails, maybe you hit it right that they just simply needed to send them from different stores. Could it also be they had to put the other ones on back order?

I picked up a 1 1/2” spade bit for countersinking all the washers into the PT top plate and also this deal on an RZ mask and a bunch of filters.

@smallerstick It was from Amazon, as the free shipping made it worth while and it is almost impossible to buy any non-standard item locally.

No, these were at Lowe’s. I got a bigger size this time, hoping it will fit a little better.

Thanks Charlie , I should check out the big box stores around me. If not I’ll have to try and order one. I just use those cheap paper ones , or bring home my big 3m one from the shop.

I haven’t seen any RZ mask in big box stores around me. I got my through RZ mask. I had to pay the shipping. I have seem them on Amazon too. There is a few tools stores that sell online that sell them too. It is a pricey to buy filters. I found the cheapest place to get filters was Ebay.
