Never saw that pocket sized level before.
I could use a quality torpedo.

    Honolulu,, Hi.

In my ongoing quest to switch over to metric for furniture building I ordered and just received this metric Japanese style stainless steel square.

I like that one for doing trim and framing in Japan. I have one that is about 25 years old. I also have one in Imperial for doing trim here. I don’t care for the french system myself.

Didn’t see ’till now the pocket one either.
You won’t go wrong with that torpedo. And it’s life time warranty.

When ( if ) you buy that, buy also something else, anything, just to be over a $100 and you’ll have free shipping.

I know it’s Stabila, but I see they don’t have those nice fat replaceable end bumpers. I kinda like those now. I gradually have been replacing all my older levels with quality Stabilas or SOLA levels.

I know I certainly don’t need any more 48in levels. Got tons of those including a nice digital 48in Stabila which is one of my favorites, but I don’t mind the shorter ones in that package although I had been thinking of getting another digital shorter level rather than non-digital ones.

That little pocket sized one looks nifty, I just don’t know how practical it is for any real use. Other than those little double hooked string line levels, I’ve never seen one like that.

    I dunno, having second thoughts.

Here they are on the Stabila site….

I went and looked at that SlickDeals site and while I can’t be certain, I don’t think it’s of much use to us outside the US.

Besides, from what I can see from the video, it’s not that great a resource even if it was available to me for Canadian deals just by judging how it works for US deals. Looks like you have to sift thru a lot of posts of so called deals that are pretty lousy. I’ve never had a problem finding deals on my own anyways.

Is it portable on wheels LOL?

No wheels but it does have robust handles on the sides.

Stabila makes at least 2 different grades of levels. I know the tile shop sells cheaper Stabilas for tile and masonry work. That’s what those look like.

No idea but for the US the search options can really hone you in on deals.

I believe you are correct and why I will likely pass on that Stabila combo/promo deal.

I have the Ridgid and it has been handy at times. If you just have a very limited job to do, it is nice and light to lug around.

I don’t know for sure. I haven’t seen it since I bought mine on clearance for like $120 or so. Was that last year? I can’t remember.
