Ordered the Dewalt 60v compressor today. Probably wont use it a lot, but for $220. I had to have it.

Maybe once you have you’ll find a lot of uses for it.

Picked up a couple of Milwaukee 18V 3.0 batteries today at a super low price. That will give me some backup on the blower and fan I have.

I haven’t heard much about that one – but a battery powered compressor sounds awesome! I’d love to hear what you think of it.

Gotta have power for those long, leafy sidewalks and hot shop days 👍

Thanks guys I’m looking forward to seeing how the sds bits perform. They are made in Germany do you think they could be rebranded Bosch?

Probably. I’m pretty sure that my Hitachi SDS-Max extenders and stems are coming out of a Bosch or Hilti factory also. Together, they patented these SDS systems way back decades ago.

Excellent review, thanks for posting. I still carry a little Swiss Army knife on my key chain; a habit from decades ago. I’m on probably my 3rd or 4th one. I give them away to friends and then replace.

The good Dewalt bits come from germany as well, I’m thinking there’s a plant there that makes quality bits that many companies buy from.

The Milwaukee SDS bits I have gotten have a cross point so there are 4 cutting edges, the Bosch bits typically have 2, especially in the 3/16 that I use a lot. The Milwaukee seem to cut more aggressively with the cross point tip.

I’ve been renting tools a lot this past week…does that count?

First was that walk behind concrete cutter, and then today was a generator and Makita 40lb jackhammer. Only the fun stuff!

Bosch has the 2 and 4, the 4 does do a much better job and do cost more.
