Went out and bought the wife a late Mother’s Day gift…lol

There’s a lot of love in your castle Jim. My princess would have me shackled in the dungeon if I bought her a mower.

Ohhh, Doobie, that sounds like fun! lol

Received my order from Lee Valley – a breaker bar and a torque wrench. I can’t believe I never owned either.

I also purchased a new Japanese saw with spare blade. I never had one these either.

I didn’t know that LV supplied breaker bars and torque wrenches!

I haven’t used Japanese saws either. Looking forward to hearing how you like it.

It was a special buy at a great price. They may still have them.

I thought Disston are good ones so that is why I grabbed and for $5 why not.

lol man Jim, I hope she knows how much you love her 😉
Funny thing, I was bugging my wife the past mothers day, I asked if she wanted me to get her the matching string trimmer to be able to be compatible with the mower lol, she actually said yes

I have some old Disston saws. Never use them, but I won’t throw them out either.

Went through the town wide yard sale and only bought a wax melter. Meant for candles but it will be great for oil/wax mixing.

I saw a Rockwell table saw that looked interesting, but it is a right tilt and a bit rough in shape. Also a little Delta bandsaw for $200 and a Router table/lift and goodies for $350. A bit out of the budget right now.

That is such an interesting saw! What are you going to use it for? Is it a ripping saw or for more delicate work?
