I’m confused, What’s the deal with these other brands of boxes but they look just like an L-Box?

Never seen the Gedore tools or boxes. Whats the quality like?

Also found this on Ebay while hunting around the internet for L-BOXX’s.

Oooooo there’s that LED lid, Was that an overseas seller?

All the boxxes are built by Sortimo. Other companies also use them to house their tools. Typically done more in Europe. (I’ve never seen another tool in a Sortimo (L-boxx) in NA) Hopefully we see more of it here.

Ha. No, it’s not overseas. It’s about, say, 35 feet away.

For those in Europe, Gedore makes some pretty neat kits that go with l-boxxes and i-boxxes. Check them out here:

Man that’s a nice mess of hand tools you have there JohnS.

I don’t understand why you think that I own those? lol. I wish…

I saw a simpson anchor offering setup in an l-boxx, but otherwise, it does seem like sortimo has not yet made partnerships in the US to offer anything else in l-boxxes.

So far i know of Sortime L-boxxes are used for:
    Bosch (powertools),
    Gedore (handtools),
    Cipac (handtools),
    Fischer (plugs and corking),
Wago (electronics(the shoes for electric wire in walls),
And some kind of laser measuring company i forgot the name of.

The attached pic sums up several of the NAINA sortimo connections quite well

Also, this guy did a good job making a simple hand tool kit out of his L-boxx 3

I like the wood trays. Shouldn’t be that hard to throw a few together.

The simplicity of the wood trays is pretty cool.

Yep the wood trays are a good idea but I really am a fan of the fitted trays for the tools.

Has anyone filled the back of the Bosch inlays with sprayfoam to strengthen them?

Nope, but I think the idea has merit. I have cracks in my festool tray and one of my bosch trays and they are almost new.

I would only do it if it was cracking and falling apart. So far mine are holding up well, but they are still fairly new.
