This might be a closer option for you in the future. I’m not sure if they would ship to the US but there are many Canadian forum members (myself included) that might be willing to help with that aspect if need be.

They claim to distribute tools, accessories, and spare parts to Canadian customers, so it’s worth a shot. Seems a bit weird that they make you guys in the US have to shop in the UK for Triton parts.

Is there an online catalogue of parts? I looked briefly yesterday and didn’t see one.

Did you by chance ask them about dealing/shipping to US customers on behalf of our American friends here?

    #364457

@jponto07 – no online parts catalogue. I just received an email back from Nordis after putting in a parts enquiry through the main Triton site. I was redirected to Nordis. I have the contact information for the parts guy and will send it to you.

@doobie – I did send an email back to him asking about availability for our US friends. As soon as I hear anything back, I will post it for them.

Got an email back from the Nordis guy and he’s checking to see if there is a way that the US guys can order direct from the States…….Here’s his email response:

    Hi Steve,

I am trying to find out if they can get the parts directly from the US and I will let you know. It would be faster and easier for them.

    Best regards,

Just got a follow up email from Nordis and it looks as if the US customers have to go through the UK ordering facility – for now……………..

It looks as if the US distributor are in negotiations with Amazon to have them distribute their parts to US customers. Great news for Triton owners when this comes off.

Anyway, just wanted to keep you guys updated…….Email is attached below:

    Hello Steve,

Unfortunately, we do not ship parts to the US.

The US dealer, ToolStream, sent me the following for US customers:

Thank you for your inquiry. To find your replacement parts please follow the attached link – http://www.toolsparesonline.com/ .

All you need to do is create an account, select US ground shipment and enter credit card information. Product will ship out of our global supply warehouse either in the UK or in LA. Pricing will be in British Pounds but will change to US dollars when it hits your credit card. The exchange rate is about 1 to 1.47 – GBP to USD. This is short term as we are in negotiations with Amazon the set them up to carry our parts.

I hope this will help. Best regards,

Nordis was a great help to me with an issue I had with the purchase of my saw.
I have been meaning to get back to this but I’ve wanted to wait until I’ve used the saw quite a bit before posting up a review.
All in all I’ve been pleased with the performance so far.
I’ve got a few more materials I’d like to cut before putting together a comprehensive review.
I apologize for the delay, but a review will be available before the end of summer.

Looking forward to the review and great to hear that your dealings with Nordis have been positive. Glad to hear that the saws is performing well for you!

I have an older TRC001 router, that has been great for me so far, but it’s nice to know that we have support here in Canada, should something go wrong.

Hopefully when Amazon do their thing with the US distributor, our American friends will have no issues with parts either.

    Necro post…
Here’s a short video of the dust collection on the Triton while cutting 1/2″ MDF that I captured yesterday.
While I understand that half inch MDF is not the best representative of dust producing material, it does illustrate that the collection is fairly effective.
The saw is currently connected to a simple Ridgid shop vac, and activated with an I-Vac switch.

I find MDF to be very dusty stuff. I seem to breath way too much of the stuff. Good video. I use the Ridgid most of the time too because it is with me.
