Guys, maybe Aaron or someone else can move this to it’s own thread.
I was wondering if we can have a topic thread that includes a link to the schedules of ALL trades related trade shows around the country in ONE place.I know this is might be a nightmare but I was thinking we each can help by finding the shows in our respective areas and posting them. That way two things may be accomplished. One,guys close to our area will be aware and be able to attend, and second, if they can attend – then guys that are regulars here can meet and put a face to the names. i have been able to do that from other forums and have now made friendships that last past the trade shows. Just a thought and here’s one to “prime the pump”

Excellent idea, Phil. There are so many all over the place that it would be nice to have them all in one thread.

I am at the show right now. There are a few new and interesting products. I posted photos od the dodge van and truck under the Promaster post.October 18, 2013 at 12:25 pm #49050
I was at the show yesterday. I love these shows and would recommend them to anyone in the trades. I know many contacts from many of the companies represented and its always great to re-connect with them and network new contacts.
They had many workshop demos and since most there are tradesman , they can just show and tell and not have to explain every step. We get it.
The deck industry has many new products.
Blind nail fastening was well represented. Railing system have also made great strides in beauty and security .
I’m. Tile guy. I visit booths like Laticrete
, USG, Schluter Systems, and also the floor heat companies , NuHeat and WarmUp
Don’t miss this show next yearOctober 18, 2013 at 2:34 pm #49064
Phil, I was amazed at allmthe deck products. Lots of tile and heated floor also. Not a lot ofbtool companies. There is always a lot to see and learn.November 3, 2013 at 1:06 pm #53890
Any more thoughts on this????? I love going to these shows for new products and networking but sometimes I just can’t keep up with Where they are and When. I wouldn’t mind traveling a little bit away from home and make it an over nighter/show combined.November 3, 2013 at 7:38 pm #54031
I hope to attend the show in Chicago next year. I actually brought it up to my boss and he seems to have some interest in sending us down there which would be excellent. I love trade shows and learning new things and just shooting the breeze with other tradesmen.

Vegas aside, WOC sounds like it is definitely a must-attend conference if you work with concrete in any way. I hear it is amazing.

Thanks for keeping us updated Phil! I will try to post whatever comes across my path that looks interesting in terms of trades shows! This really could be a great hub of information for us to use!
