ProFunny that Brad. I don’t like to cut in my MFT. I always use sacrificial cleats. That darn table cost a lot!
February 10, 2015 at 8:19 am #270800yup, and a lot of work to make!
The guy (Tom Gensmer)made his so they nest nicely for storage. A bit of work to make, but would last me a long time. He made his second set taller out of ply to clear using a jig saw. I like these better then the foam top.

ModeratorI really like the cleat idea too. I don’t mind making a cut in mine where I use the parf dogs but I don’t want to be making cuts everywhere willy nilly. Have you guys seen anything that’s 20mm and readily available for making posts for cleats, jigs etc?

February 10, 2015 at 8:28 am #270809The only option I know of is the washer like on the cleats (cheap and not very precise) or you step up to the qwas rail dogs like these.

ModeratorThose are cool. I was thinking of trying to track down some 20mm bolts or 20mm steel rod. Something I could cut and tap holes into but I don’t know how hard it would be to find something like that though.

March 31, 2015 at 2:43 pm #307221I had to rig up a table for cutting and just went with half lapped 2x’s and saw horses.
Lurking Hit and Run poster.

I’m assuming it worked out okay.

Yes, works just fine. I need to round over all the edges though.

Yes there are some pretty cheap 20mm knobs out there but I will have to find a link to them.

Another option = what RMW does – he gives detail of how he makes these 80/20 extension arms

I was wondering the same thing – is that the Triton track saw? @asevereid

ModeratorI got a Walko 3 Workbench for this. Pricey, but no regrets. I use it a lot.
Unfortunately, these are now NAINA.
But one can order them from the UK.
