I wear a bow tie when I put on suspenders.

What do you mean by a ‘bow tie’?

If I were going to get premium bags I get the Diamond Back bags. Everyone that has them loves them!!

Those look like some really nice tool belts and bags.

I find uncomfortable as it keeps sliding down.

Maybe it needs to be tighter. I make mine very tight so it won’t slip down.

Yup agree needs to be tightened up also helps if you have hips to hold it up lol

I always have an issue with mine sliding down if I’m not wearing suspenders. My tool belt is usually loaded down and I don’t have the hips to hold it up lol. I have suspenders but they really bring on the sweat.

Same here. I have always struggled to keep the belt up. Looking for options now that summer is coming and the Blakladers will no longer be worn.

I get the belt from HD that has a line of big holes in it and take the pull part of the belt and wrap it around a stud and lean back to get it tight.

I refer to mine as “buttlessness”

Suspenders would be a good option then.

What do you look for in a premium tool belt?

I don’t use premium bags. I usually just get some CLCs on sale for 60 or 70 bucks. If I were going to get premium bags I get the Diamond Back bags. Everyone that has them loves them!!

I almost bought Diamondbacks years ago, but I wondered about all those pouches.

It looks like the lower ones would be hard to access, because of how far down they hang.

I’d love to see some in person, but unless someone locally has them, it’s not gonna happen. They aren’t sold in stores.

I agree, I’m not spending that kind of money on bags I can’t see first.

I have tried them a few times, but just can’t get used to them. I really need to find some lightweight pouches and team them up with decent suspenders.

I use Occi’s cordura bags for framing.

I got the one’s with the large single pouch on the rear. It’s great for holding strips of gun nails.

I got the Occidental suspenders that fit them. Love that set up.

I’ll try to post some pics of them.

I have a nice CLC setup for electrical.

I just received these pictures today from a roofer using the belt and suspenders I made for him.
