    Wow, they are listening.

    Wow, they are listening.

Yes Jim has been reading the threads. Very nice.
I would like to try the vest for when I’m doing the inside trim work because I don’t need so much stuff.

I was bored and put together a new trim setup to try out using bits and pieces I’ve got kicking around :

I need to come up with a new set up. I barely ever wear a belt becuase I’m never comfortable or anything.

I don’t use the pouch very often but when I do it’s either my Kunny’s tool belt or a Mastercraft that I have.

So far I have been pleased with the dead on belt I picked up. The one thing that bugs me is the suspenders don’t hold position well.

I use a small husky one. I have a full set with suspenders. But found that working in homes it was easier to knock things over or rub against something. So I switched to a small husky bag that carries my most used hand tools.

It looks like this either got updated or simply reposted, but I thought it was worth a relink here: http://www.protoolreviews.com/tools/storage-organization/choosing-best-tool-belt-rig/9317/

I know a couple guys who use the Makita belts – they seem pretty well made.

Nice! I’ve never seen these before! I’m going to ask about them the next time I’m in my lumber yard!

Good read. I like my Dead On that I picked up not too long ago. What I don’t like about them is the suspenders don’t stay adjusted.

I have a couple setups, i started out with the green oxy light framing bags i use them for framing and siding, i also have the occidental suspendavest that i only use for trim work its great since i can carry all my trim tools and the have a specific spot. I also have a festool apron that i use when doing punch out work and shop work.

Do you always keep a beer in the belt?

I always love seeing that hook with a string DWB.

I need a new belt. I think I am going to go with the lefty OxyLights Ultra Framer.

A fish hook and a bottle a beer. What more can a man need?

I have the Occidental Pro Framer and an old Pro Trimmer that I don’t wear much anymore – I just stick with the framers. I don’t have a pic on the pc – will get one later if I think of it.
