    The pattern continues – I got the cordless jigsaw a while ago from BTP and then today I bought one for work because…well, they’re awesome! Lol!

    @cmeyer25
    I’ve seen them on sale in some of our Lowe’s. did you get yours on sale as well?

    Not on sale, but I checked a few different places online, and it matched anywhere I could find.

    first they started to price them down to 129 and then to 99.
    I have to grab one as well one day. I would like to get the barrel style from europe…

    Nothing so low as that around here. There is only one place that has even close to a decent selection and it was $150. I couldn’t find a refurbished one on CPO, they only had it in a kit and that was over $200. Even Amazon I could only find it for $150.

    I have seen any discounting on them either up here in Canada.

    Is there a new model coming out that you’ve heard about @madman_us? This is the 18V jiggy we’re talk8ng about…right?

    Yup, 18V D handle model. I’d love to see an 18V barrel grip, though I’m not quite sure how they’d make that work.

    @Doobie

    I don’t think they are discontinuing the model.
    As far as I saw, only Lowe’s got rid of that tool in their stores.
    Other retailers still have that jigsaw for 149.
    New model? nothing I know of…

    You would love to see a 18V barrel grip? well check this out, it’s on the market for quite some time and I’m planning on getting it because I prefer that style.

    That is a sweet looking jigsaw! I’ve never actually used a barrel grip style, but it seems like it would be much more comfortable. Is that model only available in Europe?

    I’ve got to assume it is well enough balanced with the battery hangin off the back like that. Not so sure I’d get one anyways. D handle design doesn’t bother me, either type I’m good with me.

    Is that barrel style going to eventually make it over to North America?

    I don’t think so Brian. It would be nice tho.

    Not a bug purchase, just a couple bits i picked up for a job the other day. I was happy with the amount of drilling in steel we were able to get out of them.
