Congratulations. There are now over 9500 members, and over 300,000 posts. BTP is the 2nd most active community for contractors/tradesmen of the 30 that we monitor monthly. Only the Festool Owners Group is more active in terms of posts. And we know those guys are nuts hehe.

Thanks to everyone for making this community what it is. I look forward to many more years of this community benefiting those who are in the construction trades.

That’s amazing! I have been part of several woodworking forums over the years but never one as active or informative as this one. Any question I have posed has been addressed in minutes instead of days. And the sense of community is really a pleasure to be part of.

Thanks to Jim and BTP and to the 9500 other members who make this forum great.

As I recall, Heather popped in at one time to talk about a tech question. There must be others behind the scenes; it would be cool to hear a bit about them, too.

You hit the nail on the head Kevin.
Great place, I think if I can remember correctly I joined about 2 years ago, but only started being active for around a year now. I have had some good advice for some work, and even life experiences. Thanks for another great thread.

You could make them with left over metal siding from your shop – the bags should really slide on that…

I remember it being pretty quiet here before the Canadian invasion :-)

The variety of topics has grown like crazy in the last few years .

lol that was you who brought most of us over hahah. I’ve posted maybe one new post over there since i’ve joined you on the dark side heh

Do you suppose they have missed us? Do they know we’re gone?

I’d like to thank the staff over there for allowing the forum troublemakers to go unchecked in their behaviour. If it wasn’t for that forum turning into a wild west, I wouldn’t have been led to this one.

There are very few really knowledgeable good guys left over there I’ve noticed.

John S. started to build a corn hole game, but didn’t finish if I recall. Some members gave him a hard time for not completing it…its just a running joke at this point.
