Well, they already make it but…

I wish they would sell the impact driver bits individually. Maybe they do, but I haven’t seen them. All I need is the #2 Robertson size, but I am not buying a set with all the other bits I don’t need for $30+ to get it.

I bought a bunch of Bosch bits earlier this year. Most were in single packs or muliple packs of the same bit. Think it was Mississauga Hardware, but I’d have to check.

What #2 lengths are you looking for Jim?

Cool, now I know they at least do that, the challenge is to find it on a store shelf. I suppose I could buy a bunch right from Bosch, but does anyone really do that? I usually just grab them as I am passing the shelf and the thought hits me.

Tool Nut only delivers inside the USA, perhaps not finding them on the shelf in stores is just a Canadian thing…lol. Of course, my local options are pretty limited too.

    Thanks

I remember at home Depot , they used to be on the shelves right next to the check out in the lumber side
And I have bought some from Reno Depot also.

Oh yeah, I also have put in a order through Tony Tools they have them by unit or packs I believe.

I can’t say I have sold them individually either.

I’m surprised we haven’t seen them either.

@Gtokeley what, you selling Bosch bits individually 👍🤭🤫

If you buy just one what do you do if you break it??

you can go to any authorized bosch dealer and order them if you can’t find them at big box stores. the toolnut site was only an example to show you the bits.

I am usually buying the spare, back up one when I buy. I have a bunch of cheaper ones too that I should get rid of.

Wouldn’t it be nice if the Freak can accept any one of the FlexiClick heads? It would be nice to be able to use that offset head in some situations, and that would make the Freak even Freakier. What do you think Bosch?

I’d just use it on the 12volt flexiclick. I find my 12volt Ridgid system will drive a big screw.

I find the Flexiclick does most things I need when installing cabinets. Just got to have a couple batteries around.

The only thing I need occasionally is the offset head. I don’t want another set of drill charger battery in my mobile storage just because of the offset head. If it’s for home use I don’t mind another system. But for mobile tool storage I need to optimize differently.

We have the battery powered coffee maker for the job site, now how about a
    Battery Powered Microwave

I saw this on a email i got from a tool supplier :

Now, this started as a joke on our Instagram, but the masses seem to want this device. If someone could figure out the energy conversion and make it so it won’t deplete the battery after one cup of noodles, that would be great.

We have built out of teck-shield a solar oven. Set the food in there an hour before lunch and it’s hot.

This would be pretty interesting if this could be done.

Has anyone mentioned a 12V battery with the new Core type cells? And then maybe a charger for them that takes less than six hours to top off a 2.0 Ah? Lol! I am getting spoiled by my fast chargers for all my Core and 4.0 18V batteries so every time I need to charge any of my 12V batteries I get a little frustrated!

new 12V chargers are coming, but I don’t think the are planning for larger cells in the 12V bats.

Bosch should CONTINUE to make their foam cutter, and make it cordless.

Instead, Bosch never introduced a cordless version, and discontinued the corded version.

And Bosch owned the market for foam cutting tools. The discontinued models are going for over $1,000 on ebay right now used, when they were only $300 brand new a few years ago.

Tough deal when a good tool gets discontinued and they have nothing to replace it. BTDT and it is frustrating.

Do you know any specifics about them Alex? Are they going to be faster, or maybe have more than one bay?
