As far as distilled spirits go, I;m a big fan of Tennessee’s finest Old #7 along with Kentucky’s own Jim Bean bourbon whiskey. Although I may be a lot Irish I don’t care for the Irish whiskys, just a bit to smooth for me.
And may I add…………….Do not post and pics of whisky chick as it is fround on here
Not even ask me how I know thisOctober 28, 2013 at 2:28 pm #51869I am a big fan of Bombay Saphire I guess the pine smell just runs in my blood, (Pun intended for this forum)

October 28, 2013 at 5:26 pm #51900I love Tequila. nothings more satisfying after a long days work then a shot and a beer.
October 28, 2013 at 9:10 pm #52018I just did the Jim beam factory tour and it was pretty epic. I got to bottle my favorite spirit Knob Creek. I don’t know when I will crack it open though.
Not sure why the pic is showing up sideways?

I was passing through on 65 on my way down to Nashville for a wedding. The tour was really well done! And it didn’t hurt that there was plenty of sampling at the end of the tour.

I was thinking that exact same thing lastnight when the post kept flipping. I thought, “Did I drink the whole bottle?”

October 29, 2013 at 7:59 am #52073I go Irish all the way. Don’t mind a Jamo, but a 12yr old Powers is my favorite.
October 31, 2013 at 12:16 am #52693I drink my share of Powers too because the Irish bar near me puts a different Irish Whiskey on sale each month
October 31, 2013 at 5:16 am #52698Dirty, there is a place downtown that sells a Jamo, Pabst, and a single Camel Light for $5. Just order the “Prefix”:-)

ProJohnny Walker black is good on the rocks. I have bottle of Gold that I expect will also be good. Anyone ever tried their blue? I hear you can drink it all night without a hangover.

InactiveJason, That’s pretty cool, I’ve always wanted to tour one of those places.
November 17, 2013 at 6:33 pm #59172It was a Jim beam week end………..
November 17, 2013 at 6:45 pm #59174A tour would be great. I’m a Schnapps Type, and when I say Schnapps, I’m talking to the real stuff, not that peppermint or cinnamon stuff. A nice Obstbrandt is what I like.

InactiveRumplemintz is my favorite, 100 proof, It doesn’t go down when ya drink it. It goes straight up to your brain cells with the intent of destruction :)…And it’s one of the few that actually catches fire if ya light it. I always drip a few drops on the bar after a shot and light them, They’ll burn for a few seconds
April 9, 2014 at 12:14 am #115757You know with winter hitting hard some time I stop on the walk to the pub just to get somtin to warm me up.
