First Glimpse: Bosch “Strong Arm” Brushless Circular Saw

    https://toolguyd.com/bosch-brushless-circular-saw-gks18v-264gc-strong-arm/

So far, i like it, it looks like a winner. I will be interested to see more of the features but for now, 7 1/4″, integrated dust chute and brushless are top on my list.

The CCS180 works for me but it doesn’t match up to some of the newer saws from the competition. Time is right for a new model.

BE the change you want to see.
Even if you can’t Be The Pro… Be The Poster you’d want to read.

Any review or details on the 6″ grinder? I hope they have a companion cutting shroud!

If the 18v flexi is there they should name it the FRANKENSTEIN.

The new vacs could be the VAMPIRE or the SUCKER.

The GLI18V-2200C IP64 rated 2200 lumen LED 18V light is one I would want. Here it is on a UK site.

    https://www.kelvinpowertools.com/bosch-gli18v-2200c-14.4v/18v-bluetooth-led-flood-light-naked-c-111-p-20472

Coming in May to NA. Gotta think it’ll likely be somewhere near $150 CAD.

Or even its 1200 lumen smaller brother GLI 18V-1200 C.

What I like is that I can use them outside and not worry about leaving them out in the rain.

Aside from that, the Hitman is interesting. I would just like to know how much lbs of hammer action it has compared to my corded 11264EVS corded model.

Another possibility is these Bosch tools will be appearing in some kind of Transformers type movie and this is the initial introduction of their character names to the world with the movie participation announcement to follow. Not likely, but you never know!

You might be right about the Transformer Movie. LOL. We have wait and see.

If true, I prefer to see a Bosch dishwasher turn into a Bosch dryer or a jackhammer.

I also saw that they have the same but 1/4 inch only impact.

I really like that they’re selling the kit with 2 Core4.0’s. That seems like a perfect combo IMO. Light and powerful.

Bosch X-Lock Grinder System – Tool-Free Grinder Wheel Changes

Forget the spanner wrench! You’ll get tool-free grinder wheel changes with the Bosch X-Lock grinder system. It comes with a slight premium on the tools and accessories but promises a new way to insert and remove grinder wheels.

    This is really slick

I saw that and the similar one but using the 12 volt batteries. It’s all over IG
Bosch definitely make some nice lasers.
That bracket is sweet , plenty of ways to micro adjust.

I really think getting the lasers on their 12V platform is really smart. I would love to get one of these.

Yes, moving to 12V is a very good idea imo. I’m always worried that I’ve forgotten about some alkaline batteries in some tool like a laser. You try to be careful, but sometimes you miss removing them at the end of a job. Hopefully you reuse the tool before the battery has spilled its load.

I agree. Great idea. I’m definitely going to looking at one in the near future.
But I want a green one.

Or ruptured in the heat…I don’t use a laser all that much, and I would worry about AA or AAA leaking before I came back to the tool.

Bosch Bulldog 1-inch SDS-Plus Rotary Hammer with Cordless Dust Extraction

The new Bosch Bulldog 1-inch SDS-Plus Rotary Hammer (GBH18V-26) works with the GDE18V-16 SDS-plus Dust Collection Attachment. That 18V dust collection attachment also works with corded Bosch Bulldog models. We got a sneak peek at this tool at the 2019 World of Concrete in Las Vegas

Definitely sounds like they did a great job putting this together.
I have been hearing it’s actually supposed to be stronger than the corded bulldog.

This happens a lot especially down here in Miami. I leave all my stuff in my truck.

Good flashlights I remove the batteries. Cheap ones I don’t and I lose about one every few weeks from the heat and battery leaks.
