Yes, aware of that, I’m just a little bit surprised, especially since seeing other manufacturers pumping out new tools and batteries, and fairly quickly.

Once again building a better battery is the strategy to better tools, really think patience is they key here

Problem is while we are waiting there are other companies making the tools we need right now. Lets say you need a hammer. Are going to wait to wait for Bosch to build that hammer 3 years from now or are you going to go to HD and buy Milwaukee’s hammer today. Your Call. If you need a tool you need a tool and if somebody is making that tool you’re going to buy it and when you do not only did Bosch lose a sale they might have lost a customer as you may have discovered that the company you just bought that tool from makes good tools as well.

Depends on your patience, needs, and even your wallet. While I have the Ridgid cordless router, I’d definitely buy the Bosch because it’s a totally different tool. Really if you’re doing multiple tasks sometimes changing bits can be a hassle, or at least slow one down. Honestly Bosch has my loyalty because their tools and batteries have lasted me over decade. That doesn’t mean I don’t own other brands, especially if they make a tool that’s needed. Milwaukee has a 12V staple gun it’s amazing, had to buy the kit because I only have their 18V tools. Seriously don’t hold out if another company has the tool you need to get a job done most immediately.

What’s great is the companies are innovating now, only a few years ago they were just make each others versions of the same tool.

I thought some one mention there was some new L-Boxxes coming out too. Or are they already out?

They will be released in the next few month…apparently they should have been, but we all know Bosch lol

Is this another ‘I’m sworn to secrecy’ things Alex? Lol!

You keep doing this @madman_us you know what’s gonna happen don’t you? One of us is gonna come and find you one day and do a Vulcan mind-meld on you!

    LOL Kevin @doobie
all I am saying is that new tools are coming. With some tools I can’t be specific, but the rest I already told you guys 😛
Bosch sure makes it interesting lol

Ok thanks. I will be looking for them.

Very true, case in point, I just got on the Makita platform for tools that Bosch doesn’t make nor do I think they will anytime soon.

Interesting, 23 feet per amp hour,
Definitely going to have to get stronger batteries than my 2.0, but the initial review looks promising.
I could definitely see this being a practical tool, I know I could use it on my treated wood fence caps and other things

I’m liking it more after reading that mini review. Seems that the base size doesn’t make it tippy and it is well balanced. Those were my main concerns.

They’ve been advertising a lot of their 2018 stuff on their website alread (tools and appliances) mad tons of customers are asking about them and trying to wait to buy, however not even the vendor reps are telling us dates. Maybe they know, maybe they dont…but yeah waiting is tough! 🙂

I saw that the price dropped about 20 bucks when they first started with tool.
Too bad the current 20 Off 100 promo does not work with the planer and router
