Don’t the Bosch vacs have the capability to stack an L-boxx on top?

    Yes they do.

I thought there is a weight limit because its the top of the motor/unit and it cant hold so much weight but the manual says something different:

only attach one l-BoXX weighing less than 30 lbs to the top of a vacuum.
More than one L-BOXX or more than 30lbs in weight may cause the vacuum to become unstable when being transported.

I wouldn’t say that. They simply make good vacs that suit my needs.

They seem to be the first ones with a vack that a box could lock on top of and the hose coil up on the top.

I think the lboxx 3 or 4 would be perfect on top of my vac90s as it would hold all the extra attachments as well as the hose. Instead of wrapping the second hose from the dust deputy around it.

I’m thinking the same thing when I get it. This way I can store a bunch of vac related stuff inside.

I use a Ridgid 6 gal unit with a Dust Deputy built onto it. I made a little cart with casters that wheels them both around. I use it for small, portable projects. For big, stationary tools I have the HF 2HP DC, and a Jet AFS in the shop. I bring the Ridgid into the house when needed in there.

That sounds like a great idea. All hose attachments and extra hose right there with you at all times. No hunting them down when you need them.

I got a Dewalt vac years ago when I bought the 12″ miter saw. It has served me very well. I love the size to take on jobs. It will run on the battery or electric. I have never had a battery for it though. lol
The problem now is getting a filter for it. Pretty much have to order them.

The Ridgid vac and a dust extractor are 2 way different tools.

I wouldn’t say that. They simply make good vacs that suit my needs.

I recall when I got my CT22 which didn’t have the built in top coiled hose holder but could be added as an accesory. The fellow I was ordering from strongly suggested it. Glad he did even though I was struggling at the time with adding the vac to what was my very first Festool purchase. So glad he did that.

did you get the custom made dust deputy for the festool vac? a buddy of mine had it and it was perfect, it fit like a glove and worked great. i knew if i had bought a festool vac i would’ve splurged for the dust deputy upgrade.

I’ve wanted to avoid dealing with dumping open canister/bag type things. Prefer to just change bags whenever I can.

I think he redeemed for one

How’s it holding up? Could we get a review of how it works after the abuse of a jobsite?
