Not earth shattering but could come in handy .
I was working on a granite recliner table for myself . The table Legs will slide under my recliner adjust up An down an also have an extension that pulls out underneath granite . So I can have my computer , digital tablet etc . Conviently in front ..
But as I was cutting the 1″ square tubing with 1/8″
Walls I made a short cut . So I was looking for a easy fix . I found some 5/8″ solid square stock an cut a 3″ long piece with my metal carbide saw .. this stock drove tightly in so I didn’t even have to weld .
tjis worked so well I will have other size square stock for other sizes of tubing .My name is Gerald Taylor of Taylor made granite furnishings LLC . .
