    Honolulu,, Hi.

I did not see the results of the destructed saw. One question I have, was an out
feed table used? Four foot overhang is a lot for those baby saws.

We had a saying in Germany, Working with gloves on is like working with your hands up your Ass.

I agree on the gloves,, I hate working with gloves on.

The thread is 3 years old, so who knows.

I know it is an old thread but thought it was worth asking, also curious if he used a properrip blade, 24 teeth or less. Me thinks not since he was complaining about his fancy blade.

I don’t really remember much about the details, but I was using push blocks and an outfeed. No gloves – never gloves. Blade was new-ish, a Tenryu gold combination and was a good choice for the cut I was making. I will use a rip blade when it calls for it, but this wasn’t anything serious.

As for the outfeed, I usually do, but I dont remember in this case

In either case, the saw was shipped to Germany by Bosch and investigated. Even the best tools have a few bad ones in a batch

Maybe some one should close the thread if it is too old to post in.

No, that’s not what I meant. I just thought it was most unlikely that someone originally involved in this thread would reply back in a thread so old, but obviously that wasn’t the case here as Eric in fact did so which is indeed nice to see.
