I found the plans to the ones I was talking about. All the metal bits are far away from the cutting surface, which can be replaced easily.

    Honolulu,, Hi.

I like mine a lot better because they are jobsite saw horses and will sit on uneven ground very easy because they are not a rigid horse and the legs can adjust.

    Quite cool.

I used to use those cheap metal ones from CanadianTire, that bent after one project, and often collapsed

Now I just sacrifice a few scraps of 2X4 and make an I beam, and toenail in some legs. The I beam gets the angle just right. If Im feeling fancy, I nail crossmembers to reinforce the legs.

When Im done, I trash it or rip it down. There are a few of mine that survived dismantling and were claimed by neighbours.

Strong, quick, cheap. Probably uses about two 2X4s (three if reinforcing) per horse, although I mostly use offcuts, so I don’t really notice. Leave it outside, leave it behind, who cares?

Glad to see you’re still available Chad. I taketh at times you’ve been just too busy at times the last few months. No worries. I think you’re our only go-to mod for these things nowadays. Thanks again my good man! 👍
