Bet ya that killed the under carriage of the vehicle.

Lucky it didn’t hit the van in the close lane, would have pushed it right in the path of the one it hit.

Such timing eh? Half second earlier or later and it would’ve missed it. Reminds me of that video where the Taiwanese plane cut through a highway bridge and literally scraped the nose of of a car.

How did that pipe get loose in the first place ?

When I was 17 I worked at a plumbing wholesale part time. We were all warned about how dangerous rolling pipe could be. I had a near miss with some 12 inch cast iron pipe.

i don’t know, I don’t think it was ever addressed in the video. when you are out there, really gotta have eyes at the back of your head.

Good reminder not to leave the soaked rags around. I usually lay mine out to dry then throw them away, but I may now get a bucket of water to soak them in.

If you look at the license plates, this took place in Europe somewhere. Long slim plates.
Probably lifting to place on the other side of the road but it slid into the road way.

    Safer than steel?

Yes, pound for pound there are woods that are as strong as steel. They do the bamboo all over Asia because it’s cheap and works so well. I saw lot of it in Japan.
