    Honolulu,, Hi.

Where are lead framers getting 30-35 and a truck?

It’s 10-15 less here and no vehicle.

It differs all over the place. I don’t know why he put up exacts for his area?

Getting started on the siding of the roof house. I flashed some windows today and tidied up the insides with blocking and what not that the sub trades indicated they needed

No pics, not much visible progress or anything interesting

@brutus how do you guys do your flashings. are you using peel and stick only or do you do a metal cap flashing as well. if you use metal do you hem the exposed portion that laps down over the brick mold

heres a tip, dont fart in a space suit

Got started on the shingling. Started to rain, tarped the staging.

We don’t know if there are corner boards or weaved yet… so gradually stepping in… damn.

Also, if you are a subtrade and do this for exploritory holes, I instantly hate you. As I am the jerk to have to clean it up and patch it in. At least cut a clean hole.

I use metal and peel & stick together.

By hem do you mean fold the metal back on itself? I do this where it laps over as a stiffener and it gives it a nice clean edge.

    Hey.

Sorry for no updates, we’ve been so busy, and my energy levels have been so low.

Roof house just got a whole bunch added. So we subed out the rest of the siding. Original spring reno is just finishing up, after so much was added. I have been on a 16×36 addition job. Poured the footings yesterday.

So much going on, both bosses are hands on and they hired our leads wife to do the site clean up
