    the kit showed up on the website

    https://www.boschtools.com/us/en/boschtools-ocs/palm-routers-gkf125cepk-119901-p/

    That’s a good start. But I can’t find that the PR111 Plunge Base is available to be bought seperately outside the kit.

    I ordered one from Federated tool a few weeks ago and called them to find out why it was taking so long – they said that this was to be sent directly from Bosch and then called me back to say they had no timeline on them actually showing up and that Bosch forgot to tell them they were delayed and not yet available. I canceled my order and bought another Makita 18v kit (with both fixed and plunge)

    Was that for the new kit that includes the plunge? Or just the plunge base itself?

    Just the base

    Frustrating when you look at the picture, see the price, make a decision to buy and then learn you can’t have it yet, you have to wait. I have seen the kit and the plunge base both in online listings but no one has them to sell.

    I wonder what the hold up is on Bosch’s end? This should have been available soon after the new router was announced.

    It doesn’t look like it comes with the Core batteries.

    Would you believe it is corded?

    No I wouldn’t,,, It’s way behind the curve. I’m trying to sell my corded coffee grinder size routers.

    I’ve heard the plunge base will be available in November

    Got the plunge base and I just wanted to chime in that the dust collection hood (PR012?) for the old Colt base works on the new plunge base for the new Colt.

    Thanks for letting us know. I haven’t bought the plunge for the newer Colt yet, but will at some point. How’s the visibility of the dust collection shroud @reflector? Some brands are not the greatest in that regard.

    @Doobie

    Sorry for taking forever to reply to this one but I had a difficult time even photographing this along with all the craziness of the past few months. Because of the way the lights show up on the camera this isn’t as representative as what you see in real life unless the environment is fairly dark. The lights don’t glare as bad as this in use.

    The dust shroud doesn’t really obstruct vision, but it definitely isn’t as clear as the MR23’s big shrouds which have a flat top. The New Colt seems to have the divot to allow it to clear part of the spindle lock. The divot is repeated on both sides so the shroud can be mounted flipped around.
