Seems gimmicky – I’d like to see a few people review it before I buy into a new “does everything” saw.

    Dremel US40 Ultra Saw.

Not saying that infomercial sales pitches aren’t effective but I would be pretty skeptical of their ability to stand behind their products.

    Looks like a HF tool.

It does seem gimmicky yet 7.5 amp motor on that little thing. If the base is sturdy I may be decent

    Working Pro since 1993

There is also a Rockwell Versacut which looks similar. It uses a 3 3/8″ blade IIRC

It does seem similar to the Rockwell and many other of the small bladed one hand circular saws.

Another one hit wonder that no one needs. They could have at east made it cordless.

Cordless or not, it looks like a toy! I agree with the no one needs it statement…

I’ve seen this tool couple times on tv commercials, but I would never buy that one.

I had a small Makita saw way back when the 9.6v stick battery was top shelf.

I loved that little saw . It was great on roofs and scaffolding work . Used it a ton on cedar shake siding jobs

    Always willing to learn .

I have the Dremel sawmax in a drawer somewhere. It has occasionally been handy when I need to make a few quick cuts but overall sucks. Was a gift. I found it useful to notch out some porcelain tile, but I bet I could have used a jigsaw if there is a porcelain blade

Also, use it to loan out a “circular saw” to my moron neighbour. He’s a good guy who respects everything he borrows, but he is also really not handy. Be afraid of letting him use a “real saw”

THink RotoRazor is owned by Bosch and certainly is the low-budget Dremel saw. Had ordered the Dremel saw off Amazon and hated it immediately out the box. The safety trigger was hard to squeeze, the tool was too large to grip well. the cutting discs burned the wood while cutting, a multi-tool like the MXH180 is just more practical.

Or you can just get this one

    Also a toy, IMHO.

Its not brushless, its 12v, it has a tiny blade, and only spins at 1400RPM. What are you supposed to cut with this saw? Cardboard?
