That’s such a different design than what I’m used to seeing…but the longer I stare at it, the more it seems to make sense – having the motor under your hand and at an angle could definitely take a lot of the pressure off your wrist when pushing through materials…I hope it comes to NA so I can try it out!

Kind of reminds me of those weird looking hilti recip saws

Looks to weird to be a tool of any kind for proficiency on the job site . The battery is right on the motor .

    Always willing to learn .

Looks like a good compromise between the current one handed/two handed saw, you get the benefit of two handed saw in a much more compact package.

Can probably be used with one hand if pressed to, not really possible with the current 18v.

Sure it is, you just have to have very strong fore arms lol

That actually looks pretty big. We’ll see how popular this one is I guess. I like that it is brushless, it’s nice to see bosch trying to step into that market a little more. I really liked the socket ready impact driver, they need to make more innovative tools like that.

I wonder if the angular body is because it offers better vibration dampening than incorporating it in the traditional straight body design.

Im imagining that the body makes it more usable one handed. I would not want to use a standard body one on a ladder, and was miserable the couple of times Ive had to

Could be or maybe better balance for long time use.

the RS428 has also vibration control, they separated the body from the handle and installed “rubber” or however you want to call it, in between.
the GSA 18V-32 don’t have that…Bosch might added something in the recip saw to have less vibrations.
the corded version has the “rubber” separation at the handle

I am really curious how this unit performs

I don’t see why it wouldn’t have VC.

    Honolulu,, Hi.

I wonder why Bosch is the last one they hit the market with a brushless reciprocating saw. Everybody who needs one already has it. Seems to me like they’re really aiming for the last to get it Market.
