So I wrecked my van a while ago and had to pick up a new to me van.
Well they won’t loan me money and I don’t have any so I look for the best I can find for not much money.
Thin time I ended with Chevy Express 2500. I only hope it serves me as well as the last one. My last van I had 10½year and put just over 170,000 miles on it.
I will have a nice project of building out the inside for all my tools I carry.April 11, 2014 at 1:43 am #116805Nice find, Dirty. You can do a lot with the room in that.
April 11, 2014 at 2:00 am #116812It’s over 8 feet to the sets, almost 9 feet.

April 11, 2014 at 2:14 am #116826Not sure how many miles are on it, but beware the head gasket. That’s what happened to mine at 127k. And mine supposedly came out of a fleet that was regularly maintained. Wish you better success!
April 11, 2014 at 4:58 am #116844Nice van, Dirty. I had an Express 2500 for a long time, it was a great van for me. You can really load them down and they will still move down the road nicely.

ProDid you trade the demo hammer for the van 😉
It looks like you are going to have a lot of room to store tools you just need to add shelvesApril 11, 2014 at 6:41 am #116865Not sure how many miles are on it, but beware the head gasket. Which engine ? I just had my water pump replaced. They said all is good but the next to go is the intake gasket $$. Mine is the 5.7 Vortec.
April 11, 2014 at 7:12 am #116873that looks like a good project to build out the interior. I am interested to see how you do it. I have been thinking about a truck or van for one of my leads and have not decided which way to go.
April 11, 2014 at 7:16 am #116874Good luck with the project. Looks a decent van.

Seriously, glad you found something that works and it looks quite nice. We will all be waiting for pictures of the interior build out.
April 11, 2014 at 9:22 am #116932So are you gonna repaint it or will it be a dirty white van?
