That’s with hauling all my tools around as well. I drive mostly country roads, about 55 or so average, so that does help quite a bit. Highway speeds would be more like 17.5.

That’s really good millage for a big SUV.

6.0 I believe. That’s not so bad assuming you have a lot of weight.

10 mpg on my 02 suburban 2500 with the 8.1l engine, but it’ll pull anything you ask it to. On our trip back with our new camper I was sitting around 5-6 mpg… ouch…

I average around 14 mpg with a 02 dodge dakota 4.7 v8. That’s business miles and personal total which includes pulling a 6×12 enclosed trailer at least 75% of my miles.

I get right around 18 mpg on trips though.

Interesting. At least you ended up with a V8 and not that 6 banger.

My 08 Chevy 2500HD van with the 4.8 V8. The vans computer says its 18.5 liters per 100km, thats 12.7 mpg. My old 1998 GMC 2500 with the 5.0 V8 got a bit better, i dont know how much better, but i know a bit better. My last van i used was a 2000 dodge 1500 van with the 3.9 V6. It used almost half the gas as my new 08 does.

2011 F250, crew cab, long bed with 6.2L V8. Pulling my work trailer I get 9.3 MPG. Never checked it while it’s unhooked.

At first that 9.3 MPG sounds bad but after thinking about it, I definitely am getting better fuel economy out of this big V8 than the 5.4L I had in my 2002 F350 utility bed. I never checked the fuel economy in that cause I figured I needed it so it is what it is.

The F350 had a bigger tank too. 40 gallons. I would burn through a tank in a week and a half in that thing. Now in my 2011 I get a good full 2 weeks with a smaller tank.

I get 13-15 avg. with the e350 7.3 diesel. It has a service body so it’s typically at 8-9k lbs.

I get average about 11.8 per 100km in my 2015 silverado, so its just over double my nissan versa lol.
