In my endless pursuit of interesting web sites to read, I came across this tool Makita LF1000 – a 10 inch mitre saw that converts to a table saw by flipping. (Not sure if this has been brought up before, nothing in the search engine)

Of course, NAINA but still interesting

I don’t think it was a Makita, but we saw something similar here a few months back.

My question is, would contractors actually buy this? While it’s base looks semi-collapsible, how heavy and bulky is it with the added element that when you want to flip its usage and how practical is that on a jobsite.

I do believe Bosch makes one also. Of course NAINA.

Edit; The Bosch is not like the Makita. It is different.

There ya go. Looks like the one I previously mentioned that was brought up here months ago.

generally i like a separation of tools, as if one is using the mitre saw, another could be working on a table saw doing something else or continuing the assembly line type of work.
