Decades ago, one drill was expected to do it all. Nowadays, while they still offer such basic drills, there are so many purpose specific drills out there, it’s nuts.

What is it you are PRIMARILY looking at using a drill for.

What are maybe the secondary things, and how often?

I guess lots depends on how much did you want to spend , and also will you be adding onto the same platform ,
Different manufacturers offer different tools ,
Plus you can save a few bucks if you buy a bigger kit to start off

Good luck with the search , definitely looking forward to hearing back from you

A side note , another point is reliablity
I have had great luck and service/performance from my Bosch corded and cordless
