Ok, question for the Bosch gurus, I recently got the cordless recip saw with the L-boxx 3 and inserts. My question is what is supposed to fit in the top tray? Is it just for storage?

InactivePretty much, I really like that double decker idea but I think they discontinued it now. Hang on to it
February 19, 2016 at 4:38 pm #474934I just got mine off amazon a couple of weeks ago. It almost looks like a jigsaw would fit in the top tray.

It was discontinued? That’s unfortunate. It seems to me that utilizing the vertical space would be a good idea! Bosch much have their reasons!

No it won’t fit in an Lbox 2, the handle sticks up too high from what I remember. We had a member who was able to stuff one in an Lbox2 without an insert but he had to cut a big hole in the side of the box hahahaha, yeah the foot plate stuck out an inch or so 🙂

Where can you buy one? That’s the one I tried to get directly from Bosch and it wasn’t available

I believe so. I have the same deal and just use it for storage.

I don’t think I want to stuff it in a 2 bad enough to butcher the box up
