I have always worked hospitality (ski/snowboard instruction) in the winter and construction (and other jobs) in the summer. I ended up taking a full-time job at a 4 season resort with a ski area, and after 5 years I decided to get out of hospitality management.
Great job, and company, just wanted to get weekends and holidays off to spend with my family instead of working in the hospitality industry. So I resigned and started a Digital Marketing business with a focus on helping Contractors and Builders build better websites and social media branding.
And I am doing a LOT of DIY now that I am home all the time.

Always learning, and some teaching along the way.

Wow , sounds like a great experience , but yeah I can relate about spending time with the family , especially if you had to work on weekends and holidays ,
Sounds like you are doing well with the new business , congratulations 👍
Nice to see you back again

Sorry been busy to see off new members the last little while.

I’m gonna guess your first name is Mark, despite you having it as your last name in your profile.

Welcome Mark! A.K.A. Warrior Mark. 🙂
